New Paper: Ammonia In-Situ Cracking

Our research on the use of a bluff-body burner to stabilized ammonia flames has been published in a new paper titled: Characteristics of Ammonia-Hydrogen Nonpremixed Bluff-Body-Stabilized Flames".

The paper found that ammonia cracking within the recirculation zone can help improve burning rate and reduce emission. The paper is authored by Adamu Alfazazi, Ayman Elbaz, Jiajun Li, Suliman Abdelwahid, Hong G. Im, Bassam Dally and will appear shortly in the journal of Combustion and Flame.
